Brian L. Tuttle is a certified Health IT and compliance professional with 22+ years of experience in Health IT and Compliance Consulting with expertise across practice management, EHR systems, imaging, transcription, and medical messaging. He has conducted onsite and remote risk assessments for more than 1,000 medical practices, hospitals, health departments, insurance plans, and business associates throughout the United States. Brian has also served as an expert witness in litigated court cases involving best practices and requirements for securing and providing patient access to protected health information. In addition, he has worked directly with the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), both defending covered entities and business associates and auditing them on behalf of the federal government. He is widely known in medical circles across the United States for his quality work and practical approach, and he holds a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from Georgia State University.
