James G. Zack, Jr. is the principal of James Zack Consulting. Jim previously served as Executive Director of Navigant Construction Forum™ and also as Executive Director of the Corporate Claims Management Group at Fluor Corporation. He was Vice President of PinnacleOne and Executive Director of the PinnacleOne Institute. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Construction Claims Consultant with CH2M HILL. Across more than 54 years, Jim has worked on both public and private projects in 36 states across the U.S. and in 39 countries internationally. He is a Fellow of AACE International, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Guild of Project Controls, and the Society of Construction Claims Specialists. He is widely known for his expertise in the mitigation, analysis, defense, and resolution of construction claims. Jim has authored or co-authored more than 125 papers and publications and has delivered presentations to more than 250 organizations worldwide. His certifications include Certified Construction Manager, Certified Forensic Claims Consultant, Expert Certified Construction Claims Specialist, Expert Certified Construction Delay Analyst, and Project Management Professional.
